Alcalá is a coastal town in the municipality of Guía de Isora (Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain). It is located between Puerto de Santiago and Playa de San Juan.
The hearth of Alcalá is its fishing port situated in the natural bay – home of various families of sea turtles. There are some nice well equipped swimming spots next to the port, where locals love to spend their free time.
Another attraction of Alcalá is its beautiful coastal promenade that connects it with the neighbour towns and the newly built beaches and natural pools next to the Palacio Isora hotel.
Alcalá is a small but very busy town with many shops and restaurants that provide locals with all the necessary products and services.
Apart from a couple of new developments, there are mostly traditional Canarian houses and buildings – some of them with spectacular terraces or patios. One property in Alcalá is particularly special: it is a house that belongs to Bourbons – Spanish royal dynasty, located directly at the ocean on a cliff overlooking the bay.
